Information we collect
None. ContactFixer does not collect any personal information, usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind.
How your contacts are used
ContactFixer requests access to your contacts solely to perform its core function: reading phone numbers and writing standardized versions back to your device. Specifically, the app:
- Reads contact names and phone numbers to identify numbers missing the +1 country code
- Writes updated phone numbers back to the same contacts using Apple's native Contacts framework
- Does not read any other contact fields (email, address, notes, etc.)
- Does not store, cache, or log any contact information
- Does not transmit any contact data over the network
All processing happens entirely on your device. No contact data ever leaves your iPhone.
Network access
ContactFixer makes no network requests of any kind. The app has no backend, no API, and no external services. You can verify this by running the app in airplane mode — it works identically.
Third-party services
ContactFixer uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash reporting services. The only framework used is Apple's native Contacts framework, which is part of iOS.
Data retention
Because no data is collected, there is nothing to retain or delete. Uninstalling the app removes it entirely from your device with no residual data anywhere.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Given the nature of the app — no data collection — meaningful changes to this policy are unlikely.
